Oh, ffs. Finally a decent roll which would have been beautiful on pretty much every other roll I've done and it's on one of my hardest targets ever.

I'm thinking of giving you guys 10,000 xp just so you might pass a roll. Joose, can you save us from blundering blindly round a ruined town?

I...I think that may be a success...just. Its half my int, which is 32 right? So does the fact I equalled the score a pass or a fail?

It's equal or lower according to the book, which means...shockingly, one of us has passed a roll!

It is indeed a pass. The village looks to have been looted many times in the years since it was abandoned, and there's barely a thing to be found which is useful, let alone valuable. However, in the more intact ruins of a small temple of Shalya you spot a small stone idol on a stand. It's dirty and has moss growing on it, but its eyes glint in the light coming in from the doorway. One other thing strikes you as notable about the temple, and that's the very strong animal smell in there.

You braving the smell to go in or giving up on the idea? Bear in mind you can't see much in there without going in.

In a dark corner, among the rubble and vegetation, you can see something large and furry stirring. You don't spot much else of interest, but then the large stirring furry thing is quite a distraction.

I'll get my weapon out too.
There's something horrible in here. I can see fur and smell something foul!

She'll load up her sling in case.

It's looking like you are, so lets say the commotion brings said hairy monster out to you. From the corner you hear a mighty SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! as a large boar comes angrily bursting out of the darkness.
Initiative please.
