the weapons are starting to get a bit silly for bank heisters to be honest, everyone running around shanking with toothbrush shivs and plapping their mausers. but whatever, a new bolt action rifle is always welcome

But the toothbrush is the single most satisfying weapon in the game. bar none.

it does feel good to pick out cop organs with it, doesnt it?

the psycho knife is pretty good too. basically any melee weapon that can hit almost as fast as you can tap melee

I tend to try to stab everything with the toothbrush, I keep dying of bulldozer.

I need to respec for shootyness but we have Mrs Fab-in-law over at the moment so precious little gaming being done. Should be free for a bit on Friday to help out with them though

Payday 2 Steam Group has reached 2 million people. Overkill are very happy about this and are not only giving us a new gun on the 11th, they've posted some interesting stats and have also pledged to support Payday 2 for at least another two years.

What's interesting is the fact there's 9+ million heisters. I knew it had sold well, but not that well, and with DLC sales on top as well...

Going to be a bit of a tall order though, with having to do it four times on ever increasing difficulty to get the xmas mask set, and the again on Deathwish with all of us wearing a different one.

What's even more fun is that we've now got a Thompson sub machine gun, as a gift for reaching 2 Million in the official group.


Edit: Overkill have thrown down a challenge, record a video beating their score of 53(!) bags of loot on Overkill difficulty and the winners will recieve a bunch of DLC vouchers to spread around. Might be worth having a crack.

FYI, White Xmas on Overkill gives about 250k xp.

It also only takes about 5-6 minutes to do solo. Granted, you won't get much cash, normally one or two bags, but it's not too hard.

The best thing is, they still work like masks, so you have to put your beard on in game
