That's correct. All it does is append a rid number to the address bar. I assume the site will pick it up from there.

If it doesn't appear to work, you can just add my account name (buzzles) to the original referrer section in your account management :)

Done. I'm kinda interested in the single player as well, but I think the meat of the game will be in the multiplayer. I hope.
Anyway, Starteam 5punk go!

I absolutely love stuff like this. In game advertising and other 'in character' detail. Shows a lot of care and attention is going into the game, as if we didn't already know that.

Is the narrator anyone or no one? Sure sounds familiar with a distinctive tone to some of his words.

The really impressive thing about that video is has been made with the game engine and all in-game artifacts, though I suspect flying through the clouds on a planet is a bit of artistic license.

Apparently a lot of videos are rendered in the game engine, but not necessarily how it is rendered in the game. Still, it's good that they start with beautiful details like that and scale it down, especially in this age of doing the precise opposite in a lot of PC games.

I was trying to upgrade my game to include squadron 41, but I don't seem to have that option anymore.

Looks like they're upgrading the site this morning - you should be able to create your proper accounts in about 8 hours.

I tried to buy it last night, and get in before the "buy before july 28th to get THIS SPECIAL THING!" but when I clicked the button the site went in to maintenance

Guys, guys. If you say buy before X date, don't shut your site down the day before. Damnit.

As a futher FYI, July the 6th will see current extended low prices end, and go to full price.

So, like, last chance to hop on board to grab goodies.

Personally I'm quite content to wait and see if it's any good or not.

I have just realized that this is the boat I'm getting from my kick starter pledge, I'm quiet happy with that :boogie:

Have just found this brochure that goes with the video.

Bounty Hunter yeah?

As an FYI, if you bought in a while ago and are a Veteran or Original backer, even though it doesn't say it, all Upgrade ships have Life Time Insurance. Checked with the lovely support staff earlier on in the week as it wasn't clear what I got when I upgraded to the 325a.
