Yorkshire Bash!
Date has been set as the 20th of October - aim is for it to be the Saturday and Sunday, a return to the 2 day bash.
UPDATE
Organised the evening shenanigans! Will cost £14 per head and will include a full tour of the brewery, a pint of your choice and a decent bit of grub.
Booked it initially for 10 people, so I want to see more faces on the attendees list! It's a great deal, and a great opportunity for a piss-up.
Main plan is to go to The Black Sheep Brewery on Saturday night and have a tour, food and copious amounts of ale with a nice percentage of discount as it is my place
of work. Haven't had time to talk to anyone about possible bearding for the evening but would be definitely up for it.
Accommodation will be similar to Grimbash with a moderate amount of floor/sofa space. There is also a B&B just round the corner if you would prefer an actual bed.
Nearest train station is Northallerton which is on the East Coast Mainline. I will be available to taxi anybody to my house as it is still 20 miles from there.
Send me a PM or poke me on steam if you require more detailed information. (or ask Pete as he might actually respond)

Re: Yorkshire Bash!
The 27th is my actual birthday, when I shall be 21 (again) so that would be awesome, but I'd be equally happy with the week earlier.
Sadly I can't confirm anything until I know my employment situation, but even if I don't have a job by then would gladly ferry up to three people from the Midlands area in exchange for petrol/beer tokens.

What month? Almost certainly yes anyway as I live 4 miles away and it's about time I introduced myself Although I'm not a drinker, I hope that doesn't hamper enjoyabilities!

October.
I've done bashes both sober and drunk and they were equally awesome, a trip to a brewery might be a little boring if you don't at least taste, but foods are good.

I can still enjoy learning about the processes and the smells are good, and yeah I can taste, it's not a moral objection or health thing. It's more about any awkwardness of being the only one not drinking (heavily) in the evening

Re: Yorkshire Bash!
I'm sure someone else wouldn't mind drinking your share! As host I will be attempting to stay marginally sober too (although at my house warming, which I was supposedly also hosting I drank a bottle of vodka and passed out halfway through the proceedings)
Re: Yorkshire Bash!
One of those days, or the other. I'd certainly hop on a train if there's a brewery tour happening. I'll check with my PA (Mrs Tandini) to make sure we're not already booked in for anything.

20th would be better for me, depending if I'm wobbly or not.

I can do whenever but it looks like 20th is best for numbers.

Re: Yorkshire Bash!
Yep, looks like the 20th it is, if there are no objections?
Re: Yorkshire Bash!
There's a slim chance I could make the 20th (coincides closely with Mrs Pants's birthday, and we have friends at Leeming), but don't hold your breath.

Re: Yorkshire Bash!
Right, who's planning on attending this? I'll add you to top post as and when you confirm.
Re: Yorkshire Bash!
Holidays are booked, so I will be there.
Re: Yorkshire Bash!
Confirmation, sir!
Will also offer my services as chauffeur as long as you don't mind travelling in a 4-seat, 1l, misfiring, maroon coloured Micra.

Re: Yorkshire Bash!
My car's firing fine on all six cylinders, but it's a bit far petrol-wise to justify driving over the train unless a few of us come with me and chip in. Are we talking just one night - arriving Saturday, going home Sunday?
