Oh, I wasn't sure and assumed the wrong way.

Anyway, how about a joke?:

Well something went wrong in the early hours of this morning. I went to open 5punk again after all gaems had finished at around 3 am and discovered that 5punk thought I was pnut and that everyone was still on TS.

But it was momentary and when I clicked on the forum linky it asked me to sign in and everything was subsequently working as intended as far as I could tell.

Now that's a very odd one... Looking at the page being displayed as well, it looks as if it's gone and grabbed post counts, PMs etc too. So it's just not just a display fuck up, but actually retrieved data using Pnut's userID.

Potentially a bit of a security hole too.

Maybe something to do with the caching. I would turn it off but I seem to be forever logged out on the front page and taken straight to the forum when I login. Can someone get in and disable the WP Super Cache plugin?

/edit
It's disabled now.

It says I'm Pete, too - but it doesn't actually let me do anything as him, posting or looking at his PMs/control panel. Clearing local cache (CTRL+SHIFT+DEL) doesn't clear it, so it must be cached by the plugin/addon that does the integration.

Not as such, as it doesn't seem to rate as a security risk, more an oddity.

If you try and select anything on their that's actually on the main board if you're not logged in it will send you to the login page and if you are logged in (as you) it will use your own credentials, so clicking PMs will take you to your own PMs, not Pete's or whoever's.

Has the session state been turned off for the home.5punk page? After logging in it and then going back to the page (in Chome) I appeared to have been logged out again. In Firefox though I remain logged in.

Just FYI, if you're using chrome and you want to do a hard refresh (clearing cache etc) you have to press F12 to get into its HTML inspector and then right click on the refresh button and select your preferred refresh method. CTRL+F5 or Shift+F5 doesn't seem to do much in my experience. Also try using the site in an incognito tab to ensure no addons or scripts are interfering.

CTRL+SHIFT+DEL is a useful one, should work in most browsers for clearing cache.
