I've been tinkering around with builds, certain builds are good for certian maps - I play tank in TBG because it sends emo cunts into spasms of rage, but I find it is useless in bigger maps so I'm running a cookie cutter that I don't really know how to use. You can't advance up the PvP soul until you are level 50 and you start moving up the pvp ranks.

Are people still playing this then? May give it a go, spending less time on wow at the moment, mainly just afk'ing and chatting and only really playing for raids.

There's still a few people playing. I'm on and off, determined to reach the top level for the first time in any MMO.

Cool, I shall install the trial when I get home. Just hope all the fun doesn't happen on raiding night,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Before I get a trial, is there any sort of recruit a friend system where you get a bonus for inviting someone to the game?

Been reading through stuff about the souls, I play a paladin tank in wow, seems pretty cool that I can have a paladin tank with some Death Knight type abilities too, looking forward to this now :D

Or you could have a tank Mage. Or a healing rogue. It's quite an odd game, really.

Oh, and yes there is a recruit a friend type thing. I'll let someone else have it though, as the rewards are better the more people you recruit, and I have recruited no people.

Try Anery. He was asking a few times if he could invite anyone so he could get a fabulous pony.

The European patch day for WoW has always been Wednesday. I guess it is a bit weird. Might be to reduce stress on servers compared to the weekend.

I think idea with the weekday release is to allow the more casual players to get into the new raid content. As I understand it there will be a few things to do before you can head over to it (closing rifts, downing a few non-raid bosses, etc). So, rather than trying to cram it all into the weekend, they want to spread it out a bit and not have all the spots camped by the big guilds. Also allows them a few days to fix any broken stuff; there are some major mechanic changes coming and after the kerfuffle the last world event shambles caused they are probably being fairly cautious.

Oh, I should have probably had a look last night. After a week off though (a week ago now), I'm struggling to motivate myself. Partly due to my newfound fascination with Terraria and partly because whenever I think about solo PvE I want to do something else. I think it's just that I've reached saturation point a lot quicker this time round, and will do with MMOs until something new is produced.

The world event isn't all that good at the moment, in the first phase. Just some quests to pick up in the main city, some of which didn't work but are supposedly now fixed. Also I'm being offered quests that require me to deal with mobs that are too high level for me, at L42. I only managed to complete one by distracting the mob with my pet and then using feign death to get rid of the mob once my pet had been killed.

The stuff you can buy with the tokens you get from the quests aren't too bad. Cosmetic stuff that you'd expect but also some useful bits and pieces, if you can be bothered to get enough tokens.

I've moved to a new server, using the free transfer. You'll likely find Overlook to be very quiet now. I'm on Steampike, which is the busiest I've seen the game since beta testing. And obviously I've abandoned the guild. :ninja:
The guild can be moved if that's what people want, don't know how personally.

The first phase world event quests seem to be fixed now. And it was quite easy for my L42 character to kill the L50 mob for one of them. :?

If anyone is still playing this, via Teef I've got a free hat code for oddly enough, an in game hat.

It's yours for hugs and kisses.
