I got:

-A dish of spanish delicacies (wich had been given to Mrs Johnson's mum, but she didn't want it)
-A tiny tiny german polizei volkswagen, and a similar sized volkswagen ambulance.
-an italian profiterole cake
-and my missus gave me a book titled "Deadly Intent: crime & punishment", which contains among other things interesting bits about the history of forensic photography, and lots of gory pictures about gang-style executions and stuff like that from the 1920's-1940's. Interesting stuff for serial killers, as my missus stated.
-i also got a flashlight that my mum gave me.
-a microwaveable box of leftover chili.

i gave:
-A slanket, chocolate brown, which is apparently great for dressing up like a beggar/monk/jedi.
-a swiss army knife with a built-in MP3 and radio.
-a model simca car for my dad
-a ruby wine slanket for my mum, but here it's the tradition that parents don't open their presents till new year, so technically i didn't give those yet.

Alien Resurrection ranks as second of the four on my list, after Aliens. Alien 3 drops in last, not that I dislike it.

Aliens
Alien
Alien 3
Aliens Resurrection

Aliens is the only one I like a lot. Alien is a classic thriller, but it feels like a monster movie in space. Alien 3 I thought was very similar to Alien, just a little more sci-fi and a little cheesier. It had started to fall into the trap of becoming a mythos (see Alien vs Predator for the epitome of this). Resurrection fell further into the trap. As amusing as it is, the wisecracks and superheroes are very far removed from the survival horror of Aliens.

I got:

1 bottle of Jim Beams and 2 bottles of Jack Daniels (my family have decided I need MORE booze it seems....)

Couple of books, one being Lewis Hamilton's autobiography... which I didn't ask for as he's younger than me and written an autobiography, surely half of it will have to be about potty training and GCSEs...

Endless amounts of chocolate

ST: The Next Generation series 1 boxset

Some socks, hat, scarf, jumper, couple of shirts and a new pair of converse.

And the best of all is 960 Yorkshire tea bags in a huge bag from a friend of mine, should keep me going a while :)

All in all a rather decent Christmas :likesitall:
