Your werds are appreciated, Pantsu. I never really went away, just had to do werkstuff™ for a while. Finally got around to buying a new pooter, and am now able to play games form this decade.

As for you, Roman, I know you missed me most of all. I have a special collection of photographs just for you.

I'll take your New Vegases off your hands if you don't mind.

I have a spare seXCOM if anyone wants it?

Vanilla, so perhaps not so seX(y)COM if you already have it.

Be my Steam Friend!

Which one did you want? The Ul-Ul-Ul-Ultimate Edition has everything, evar. Whilst the DLC's have everything other than the base game.

Is endless space anything like endless legend? Or is the name just a coincidence?

It is, they are both 4x strategy games, though Legend is more a fantasy setting and Space is, well a space setting. i found endless space easier to get into and somewhat clearer to navigate in ways(at least i found it to be), although the general consensus seems to be that legend is the better game as it is more fleshed out and they seemed to really build upon the 4x genre's mechanics and make them their own.

i think the biggest difference in the two games is the way combat is dealt with, i cant really explain either method very well but they are done very differently. best bet is probably looking at a bit of game play footage to see how the combat works in both the games really, Space did get a fair bit of flak for its combat system, i didn't mind it but it was very hands off and mostly people thought that it was a bit naff.

The settings of all of the Endless games are all intertwined though.

Endless Space is simpler than Legend and space based. I love it, but as Joose says it's not for everyone. There's a review of it in the Review section off the front page.

Am I too late for the New Vegas DLCs, not the whole thing, if they were separate? I never got around to buying any of them.

Not spare, but Race the Sun is free for today only. Not as in free weekend, but proper free. It got good reviews, never took my fancy, but I'll buy it at that price.

I'm not a huge fan of the minimalist surroundings but otherwise I quite like the game.

This was one of the free games on Playstation Plus (which isn't free). I think I got my best score by just pressing left and eventually bouncing off the perimeter wall on the first map it gave me.
